Production process:
Steelmaking and casting: First, the iron ore in the raw material is converted into steel through the steelmaking process. The appropriate alloying elements are then added to the steel to produce the desired carbon steel chemical composition.
Rolling: After the billet is heated to the appropriate temperature in the rolling mill, it is rolled through the mill to the desired thickness and width.
Quenching and tempering: The hardness of carbon steel is enhanced through a quenching process of heating and rapid cooling. Then, through a tempering process, the hardness is properly adjusted to increase toughness and reduce brittleness.
Cutting and forming: Cutting machines and forming equipment are used to cut carbon steel sheets into the desired shape and size.
Surface treatment: Surface treatment can include pickling, galvanizing, coating, etc., to improve corrosion resistance or improve appearance.
Automotive industry: In automotive manufacturing, carbon steel plates are used to manufacture body parts, chassis and other structural components because of their high strength and good formability.
Mechanical manufacturing: Carbon steel plates are used to manufacture various mechanical equipment, parts and tools, such as gears, bearings, bolts, etc.
Shipbuilding: In ship construction, carbon steel plates are often used to make hull structures and ship components.
Containers and pipes: Carbon steel plates are used to make a variety of containers and pipes, including oil tanks, storage tanks, pipes, etc.
Furniture and decoration: In the furniture manufacturing and decoration industry, carbon steel plates are often used to make furniture, lamps, decorations, etc.
In general, carbon steel plate has good mechanical properties and manufacturing processability, so it has a wide range of applications in many fields.
